Egyszer volt, hol nem volt, egy kis falu egy nagy erdő szélén. Ott élt egy kedves kislány. Mindenki, aki találkozott vele, rögtön megszerette, de senki sem szerette jobban, mint a nagymamája. A nagymama mindig valami új ajándékon gondolkodott a kislány számára. Egy nap egy kis piros bársonysapkát adott neki. A sapka annyira jól állt neki, hogy többé semmi mást nem akart viselni. Attól a naptól kezdve a faluban mindenki Piroskának hívta. A nagymama az erdő mélyén lakott, körülbelül félórányi sétára a falutól. Piroska gyakran meglátogatta, és mindig örültek egymásnak.

Van egy kislány. Van egy piros sapkája. Minden nap viseli. Az emberek Piroskának hívják.
