Tom Thumb — illustrated graded reader

Tom Thumb in Hungarian

A0–B1 graded story, English translation and illustrations · Grimm Brothers

Tom Thumb, called Thumbling in the Grimm source, tells the story of a boy no larger than his father’s thumb. Although he is tiny, Tom is clever, confident, and eager to prove that he can be useful. When two strangers offer his father money for him, Tom creates a secret plan that he believes will bring him safely home. Instead, he begins an extraordinary journey involving thieves, a hungry cow, a wolf, and several narrow escapes. His small size repeatedly places him in danger, but it also allows him to hide, listen, and outwit much larger opponents. Can Tom survive his adventures and return to his worried parents?
