The Elves and the Shoemaker in Spanish
A0–B1 graded story, English translation and illustrations · Grimm Brothers
The Elves and the Shoemaker is a gentle Brothers Grimm fairy tale about generosity and gratitude. A poor shoemaker has enough leather left to make only one final pair of shoes. He cuts the leather before going to bed, planning to finish his work the next morning. When he wakes, he finds a beautifully made pair of shoes waiting on his table. They sell immediately, allowing him to buy more leather, but the same mysterious thing happens again the following night. Determined to discover who is helping them, the shoemaker and his wife stay awake and watch the workshop. How can they thank their secret helpers for changing their lives?
