The Frog Prince is the first fairy tale in the Brothers Grimm collection. A young princess loses her favourite golden ball in a deep forest well. A frog offers to retrieve it, but only if she promises to let him become her companion, eat from her plate, and sleep near her bed. The princess agrees, never expecting the frog to follow her home. When he arrives at the palace, her father insists that she honour her promise. Angry and disgusted, the princess wants nothing to do with her unusual guest. But the frog is hiding a remarkable secret, and keeping her word may change both of their lives.
