The Goose Girl is a Brothers Grimm story about a princess whose identity is stolen during a journey to marry a distant prince. Accompanied by a dishonest servant and her magical horse, Falada, the princess carries a special token from her mother for protection. When she loses it, the servant forces her to exchange clothes and places. At the palace, the false princess prepares for the wedding while the true bride is sent into the fields to care for geese. Although she is afraid to reveal the truth, her unusual behaviour attracts the old king’s attention. Can he discover who she really is before the wedding takes place?
