About this story
Hansel and Gretel follows two children who are abandoned in a dark forest when their family no longer has enough food. Hansel tries to mark the path home, but his careful plan fails, leaving the brother and sister cold, hungry, and lost. Deep in the woods, they discover a wonderful house made from bread, cake, and sugar. Its friendly owner invites them inside and gives them a delicious meal.
