About this story
Daniel is a trusted official in the kingdom of Darius, but jealous rivals search for a way to destroy him. They persuade the king to issue a law forbidding anyone from praying to any god or person except the king. Daniel continues praying openly to God and is condemned to spend the night in a den of lions. Although King Darius regrets his decision, even he cannot cancel the law. Daniel in the Lions’ Den is a famous Bible story about faith, courage and remaining loyal to one’s beliefs when obedience carries a deadly price.
