About this story
In Verona, the Montague and Capulet families are divided by an ancient feud. When Romeo Montague secretly attends a Capulet celebration, he meets Juliet, and the two fall immediately in love. Although their families are bitter enemies, they marry in secret and dream of a life together. But a deadly street fight forces Romeo to leave the city, while Juliet’s parents arrange her marriage to another man. A dangerous plan offers the young lovers one final hope, but it depends on a message reaching Romeo in time. Can their love overcome the hatred surrounding them, or will the conflict between their families destroy everything?
