About this story

Four young lovers enter a forest outside Athens, each pursuing someone who loves another. Unknown to them, the forest is ruled by Oberon and Titania, the fairy king and queen, who are fighting over a young boy. Oberon sends the mischievous Puck to use a magical flower that makes people fall in love with the first creature they see. But Puck enchants the wrong people, transforming romantic confusion into complete chaos. Meanwhile, a group of amateur actors rehearses a play, and one of them receives the head of a donkey. Can the magic be reversed before sunrise, allowing the lovers to discover whom they truly love?

Scene 1 of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, illustratedVisul unei nopți de vară · Scene 1
