About this story
The people of the world speak one language and decide to build a great city with a tower reaching toward heaven. They hope the project will make them famous and prevent them from being scattered across the earth. God sees what they are building and confuses their language, making it impossible for them to understand one another. The unfinished city becomes known as Babel, and its people are scattered throughout the world. The Tower of Babel is a short and influential Bible story about ambition, pride and division that offers a biblical explanation for the existence of different languages.

Turnul Babel · Scene 1Toți oamenii au o singură limbă. Toți vorbesc la fel. Oamenii merg spre răsărit. Apoi găsesc o câmpie în țara Șinear. Oamenii stau acolo.
